Connotation of CIS

1. “Jing” refers to ten trillion, the meaning of magnificence. Instead of the traditional focus on English expression, the visual design highlights the Chinese character “Jing”, meaning that Chinese gain honor from the world and become the leading role in the age of globalization.
2. The Chinese character “Jing” also refers to the capital and central plains as well as the heart of regional politics, economy, and culture. It symbolizes the corporate ambition to exploit Mainland China and advance on the global market.
3. Jing is above the earth and sphere and located in the middle of upward orbit, which represents the corporate spirits of sustainable development, evolvement with time, continuous progress, management of global economic trend, and adequate international outlook. The overall composition implies Taiji configuration, symbolizing the generation of Ying and Yang with circular dynamics.

Significance of CIS colors in its 1998 edition

The color comprises "the earthy yellow" and "nature green", representing the corporate passion for the world.
