Originally as Yamaichi International (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. (The parent company “Yamaichi" was the fourth biggest securities company in Japan), Core Pacific Yamaichi (Hong Kong) was founded in 1969. Later, Core Pacific Group acquired Yamaichi International (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. in January 1998 and changed its name to Core Pacific Yamaichi (Hong Kong). The company main engages in securities and futures brokerage businesses and provide global securities trading, advisory services, investment banking, and wealth management.
